Welcome to my home page!
I am a post doctoral fellow at Sasahara Lab, Tokyo Institute of Technology. My research field is Computational Social Science. I focus on analyzing social media data to understand critical events, political ideologies, and human behaviour.
I was reciepent of Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship for Ph.D. in Kyushu University, Japan. My research during Ph.D. was focused on computational analysis of News media data and understanding their framing of important themes such as Cybersecurity, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
I have M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) in Area Studies with specialisation on Japan from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. In my future research, I would love to apply computational methods to understand and analyze how the social media is influencing foreign policies, strategic discourse, and international politics.
I have published in journals such as Social Media and Society, First Monday, Digital Scholarship in the Humanities and IEEE Access. I am also enthusiatic about presenting my research in different international conferences such as International Conference on Computational Social Science (IC2S2), and International Communication Association (ICA), and American Political Science Association (APSA).
